Brighton Animal Action demonstrate regularly against the sale of foie gras in Brighton & Hove. We are currently protesting outside La Fourchette, Hotel du Vin and the Arrogant Frog. Riddle & Finn, which advertised foie gras when they first opened their new branch in Hove, has now removed it from the menu – and we didn’t even have to do a demo!
It’s been dubbed Torture in a Tin – certainly the right description for a product that involves the forced feeding of ducks and geese.
Latest news is that Prince Charles has banned it from his home.
